In the mid 2000's there was no way of getting comic book content on the iTunes store. Apple wasn't even accepting PDFs, let alone offering the conveniences of the iBookstore and comic reader apps we enjoy today. To combat this problem I helped develop the video comics below. They were created strictly for the practical purpose of getting comics on the iTunes store (these were once available as a video podcast) but little did we realize that we would come to love the form and that it would take root in others. Now called motion comics, these types of comics can now even be found in high def on Netflix. To the best of my knowledge, the videos below, written, illustrated and directed by me, were the very first motion comics ever made available on the iTunes store.
